Working in collaboration with our trusted industry partners and trades people, we offer support on projects ranging from condos to full houses; first homes to growing families, blank slates to refreshes.
As part of our “Full Service” offering, we will take care of and finesse every detail from the initial design phase through until we hang the last artwork in your home—and the nitty gritty in between. Our goal is to have your entire home flow together seamlessly, creating the perfect blend of function and beauty.

Looking for support designing a room of your home, or perhaps to refresh a living space? Willing to do the legwork and execution yourself but need support with the initial vision? Virtual Design can help you do that. We’ll give you some “homework” to do first so we can tap into your personal style, and then we’ll come back to you with a design plan and detailed shopping list so you can purchase the elements required to execute the vision at your own pace and inline with your budget.

Think of a fashion show. Designers have created all of the trendsetting clothes you see on the runway, and then a stylist has stepped in to transform the clothing into an outfit with jewellery, shoes, hair and makeup. The designer and the stylist work together to complete the look and create an entire experience.
The same goes for spaces. It’s the interior designer’s role to create function in a room, propose structural changes to suit the client’s needs, and deliver a completed vision. The interior decorator then steps in to “dress” the space and make recommendations for bringing everything together. This includes things like furniture selection, lighting and drapes, paint colours, fixtures, finishing touches and styling the completed space.

question:

What’s the difference between an interior decorator and an interior designer?
